SharePoint

Behov:
Har kollat på integrationer mellan sharepointlistor och excel, d v s att man vill kunna öppna en sharepointlista i excel, redigera den där och sedan synka ihop ändringarna med ursprungslistan.

Problem:
Det känns som en ganska enkel standardfunktion som många borde efterfråga och svaret är ”Ja, det efterfrågas” men ”Nej, detta funkar inte OOTB”.

Man kan nästan få detta att funka om man har Excel 2003 och en Add-in från Microsoft, men ganska skakigt och långtifrån stabilt nog att sälja in hos kund. Har man istället Excel 2007 (inkluderat att spara ner i .xls-format i Excel 2007) så skiter det sig.

Försöker man att skapa en lista i SharePoint som sedan redigeras i excel så skiter det sig sannolikt också. Bättre odds (men inte bra) får man om man börjar med att skapa den i excel. Microsoft förespråkar att användarna ska köra med MS Access istället för Excel…

Lösning:
Gratis Add-in från Softfluent! Med den kan man som vanligt klicka på Actions - Export to Spreadsheet och välj Open för att få upp listan i excel. Väl inne i excelarket är det bara att redigera värdena. Kopplingar till SharePoint-kolumnerna förljer med (AD-kopplingar m.m.). När man är färdig högerklickar man i excelarket, väljer
